I don't think that anyone who travels on teh A1 can avoid stopping at least once at tha Angel of the North. Every time I pass I stop and like many others try to take a picture to do it justice. This I offer as one of my better attempts although I still don't think it depicts the sheer enormity of the Angel

Eastwood Parish Church, shot here fron the erewash canal. All that remains of the original church appears to be this clock tower which dominates Eastwood.

Eastwood Parish Church again - this time overlooking the Eastwood Lock on the Erewash Canal.

This is Bamburgh Beach shot as a pamorama from the its nothern limit. This is 6 or so images which have been stitched together. I obviously set out to create this type of image and shot with about 30% overlap so that I could get good blending.

Another pamorama this time the Farne Islands from Seahouses beach. The constantky moving waves have made this difficult to combine and some cloning has been used to produce realistic waves.

|
And a final pamorama (at least for now). This is Seahouses harbour in Northhumberland. I'm not as happy as I could be with this because as I was shooting the light changed.

I was walking in Shipley Country Park just before sunset when I spotted the reflection of the trees in the lake. Except for trimming off a little of the clutter from the right this is untouched.

This was taken at the same time as the reflection above. It really doesn't do the trees justice but this was the only way to get the whole stand ina single picture.
